Click on the graphic to the right to see them all &#8230; I&#8217;m essentially a functionalist but try to keep an open mind.<\/p>\n<p>OK, I can state it more forcefully than that: I believe, and believe I can point to evidence for, that consciousness performs many important functions, and I want to know what they all are, how they work together, and how they relate to the other functions of the brain.
