I \u2026 I just don\u2019t want you hurt, but you might be able to help us.\u201d<\/p>\n<p style=\"margin: 0px;\"><\/p>\n<p style=\"margin: 0px;\">\u201cFine,\u201d I says. \u201cMath is supposed to be fun, not a chore.\u201d<\/p>\n<p style=\"margin: 0px;\"><\/p>\n<p style=\"margin: 0px;\">\u201cYou don\u2019t have to help,\u201d Mom says.<\/p>\n<p style=\"margin: 0px;\"><\/p>\n<p style=\"margin: 0px;\">\u201cI\u2019ll do it,\u201d I says. \u201cI \u2026 sigh, can I lay the cards on the table, Mom?\u201d<\/p>\n<p style=\"margin: 0px;\"><\/p>\n<p style=\"margin: 0px;\">\u201cSure.\u201d<\/p>\n<p style=\"margin: 0px;\"><\/p>\n<p style=\"margin: 0px;\">\u201cI feel better, and want to go for a run tonight,\u201d I says.<\/p>\n<p style=\"margin: 0px;\"><\/p>\n<p style=\"margin: 0px;\">Mom purses her lips.<\/p>\n<p style=\"margin: 0px;\"><\/p>\n<p style=\"margin: 0px;\">\u201cI\u2019ve already asked a friend from the werehouse, like you asked,\u201d I says. I juts my chin out in defiance. \u201cMy boyfriend. Tully.\u201d<\/p>\n<p style=\"margin: 0px;\"><\/p>\n<p style=\"margin: 0px;\">Mom frowns.<\/p>\n<p style=\"margin: 0px;\"><\/p>\n<p style=\"margin: 0px;\">\u201cWhatdja got to say about that?\u201d I asks defiantly.<\/p>\n<p style=\"margin: 0px;\"><\/p>\n<p style=\"margin: 0px;\">Mom shrugs. \u201cThat \u2026 is what I said, isn\u2019t it. Run with a friend from the werehouse\u2014\u201d<\/p>\n<p style=\"margin: 0px;\"><\/p>\n<p style=\"margin: 0px;\">\u201cIt sure as hell is,\u201d I shoots back.<\/p>\n<p style=\"margin: 0px;\"><\/p>\n<p style=\"margin: 0px;\">\u201cWhat about that thing on your ankle?\u201d Mom says.<\/p>\n<p style=\"margin: 0px;\"><\/p>\n<p style=\"margin: 0px;\">\u201cI\u2019ll be sure not to take it into any Edgeworld locations,\u201d I says. \u201cI ain\u2019t stupid.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\n<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>Lots going on there.
