By my count, this is my 13th accepted short story, and will likely be the 11th published (as I have 2 in the queue at the forthcoming anthology 30 DAYS LATER). As I\u2019ve said before, this just goes to show that if you write, if you finish what you write, and you send out what you write, you\u2019re much more likely to get published than if you stare sadly at the manuscripts at the bottom of your sock drawer muttering \u201cif only \u2026 if only\u201d as you slowly scoop shovels of chocolate ice cream into your mouth with a dull spoon. But hey!
