{"id":3317,"date":"2016-04-29T01:16:04","date_gmt":"2016-04-29T08:16:04","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.dresan.com\/blog\/?p=3317"},"modified":"2017-03-26T15:05:48","modified_gmt":"2017-03-26T22:05:48","slug":"life-is-more-important","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/dresan.com\/blog\/2016\/04\/29\/life-is-more-important\/","title":{"rendered":"Life is More Important"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.dresan.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/04\/index.jpg\" width=\"600\" height=\"450\" alt=\"index.jpg\" \/><\/p>\n<p>So after catching up for a while on Camp Nano, I fell behind again \u2026 because I and my wife traveled back to Greenville, South Carolina to assist my mother\u2019s rehab from knee surgery, and frankly that\u2019 more important than any amount of word count. The good news is, she\u2019s doing very well, and came home from the hospital yesterday \u2026 the even better news is, that my wife and my mom patched it up after eight years of not speaking to each other, a feat which I didn\u2019t think was even possible. What a wonderful trip!<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;&nbsp;<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.dresan.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/04\/Camp-Nano-2016-04-29a.png\" width=\"600\" height=\"416\" alt=\"Camp Nano 2016-04-29a.png\" \/><\/p>\n<p>I lost my momentum the moment I hopped on that plane, and after that it was tough to get it back when I was caring for Mom &#8211; you can see the dent in the schedule around the 20th &#8211; and getting back on track after that required a full court press. But, in the past several days, I was able to do just that, and managed to pump out 2000+ words on all of the past five days, and double that on three of those.
