In fact I know enough physics to get the gist of <a href=\"http:\/\/mathworld.wolfram.com\/AbelianGroup.html\">some<\/a> of what it&#8217;s saying and to know <a href=\"http:\/\/superstringtheory.com\/math\/math3.html\">where<\/a> <a href=\"http:\/\/mathworld.wolfram.com\/Cohomology.html\">to look up<\/a> <a href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Gerbe\">the rest<\/a>.  So I really shouldn&#8217;t pick on this &#8230; it&#8217;s perfectly clear for its intended audience. <\/p>\n<p>However, I just can&#8217;t get enough of &#8220;the well-known Deligne hypercohomology forumation of strict abelian p-gerbes&#8221;.
