I can\u2019t tell you how many times in the past I had a great idea that I felt I \u201cwasn\u2019t ready to tell,\u201d but I can tell you that those stories almost never get told.<\/p>\n<p>When I started writing a steampunk novel, I questioned what to put in it. I knew my protagonist was a young female soldier from the Victorian era, but what else should go in the story?
