{"id":405,"date":"2004-09-27T07:05:00","date_gmt":"2004-09-27T07:05:00","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.dresan.com\/blog\/?p=405"},"modified":"2004-09-27T07:05:00","modified_gmt":"2004-09-27T07:05:00","slug":"okay-okay-i-get-the-point","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/dresan.com\/blog\/2004\/09\/27\/okay-okay-i-get-the-point\/","title":{"rendered":"Okay, OKAY, I *get* the *point*!"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>SO I&#8217;m sitting in a panel at<a href=\"http:\/\/www.awa-con.com\/\">Anime Weekend Atlanta 10<\/a> listening to the always delightful <a href=\"http:\/\/www.megatokyo.com\/\">Piro<\/a> talk about how drawing works for him, busy taking notes while sketching faces for practice in the margins.<\/p>\n<p>Then the panel ends &#8230; and a young lady sitting next to me asks me to do a sketch, because she liked what I was drawing so much.  Then someone else commented on my <a href=\"http:\/\/www.cafepress.com\/cp\/store.aspx?s=dresan\">t-shirt<\/a>.  And finally, out of the blue, while I was talking to a distributor of the fanfilm  &#8220;Batman vs. Joker vs. Aliens vs. Predator vs. more Aliens vs. more Predators&#8221;, he asked, &#8220;So, do you have a web site, and is any of your stuff on it?&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>So, OKAY, I get the point! I&#8217;ll put <a href=\"http:\/\/www.fanufiku.com\">f@nu fiku<\/a> and my other art online already.
