Hey folks! I somehow survived Worldcon and after a brief visit with my wife am now at Dragon Con for its fortieth anniversary! Since I went to Dragon Con, like, #1 or #2, this makes it my … um … let’s not get too hasty on counting those years of coming to conventions, now, shall we?

When writing Historical Fantasy & Alternate History, you can’t make *everything* up. Some parts must be accurate. Finding the balance between realism & the fantastical is important in these genres. We’ll be discussing this and other aspects and challenges of writing history into our fiction.
